Singapore Green LabelThe Ministry of the Environment launched the Singapore Green Labelling Scheme (SGLS) in May 1992. The Singapore Environment Council (SEC) has administered the Green Label scheme since June1999. The Council is a nationally orientated, non-governmental organization that seeks to raise the level of environmental awareness and action within industry and the community. The Green Label can be used on products, which meet the eco-standards specified by the scheme and recognized as a member of the international Global Eco-labelling Network (GEN) allowing certification by mutual recognition of SGLS endorsed products by other members of the network. ENiTo® is proud to be the first Palm Wood Flooring Company in Singapore to achieve the Green Label for 100% recycled material.
National Wood Flooring AssociationNWFA is the ultimate source for wood flooring professionals. Established since 1986, NWFA is an organization that helps and advances the wood flooring industry, while bringing valuable resources and information to its members. Today NWFA boast over 3500 members throughout the world, a diversified group of professionals who are working together to exchange ideas, advance their skills and increase their knowledge. As a member ENiTo® is committed to follow the standard of professional conduct of the NWFA.
Singapore Green Building CouncilThe Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC)’s Green Building Product Certification Scheme, was launched on 14 September 2010 as a key initiative to support the building industry in the drive towards sustainability and environment- friendly built environment. The Certification is the 1st dedicated green building product certification scheme to support the BCA Green Mark Scheme. It is a Scheme with criteria formulated by more than 90 building professionals, assesses the level of environmental friendliness of building products in areas of safety, health, performance efficiency and environmental protection. The certification will provide consumers, building industry stakeholders, and government procurement system an excellent listing of robustly assessed and certified green building products.
CE Labeling/ Fire Resistance Rating
An initial fire test was carried for the CE-labeling (EN14342). The CE marking (also known as CE mark) is a mandatory conformity mark on many products placed on the single market in the European Economic Area (EEA). The CE marking certifies that a product has met EU consumer safety, health or environmental requirements.

The Development and testing laboratory Wood Technology GmbH (EPH) is a subsidiary of the IHD. Its proven methodology for testing competence, integrity and impartiality of the laboratory is the basis for the acceptance of test certificates and the EPH-QP-quality brand by institutions, authorities, many RAL-quality communities and national and international trading houses.
U.S. Green Building CouncilUSGBC founded in 1993, is a non-profit trade organization that promotes sustainability in how buildings are designed, built and operated. The USGBC aims to make green buildings available to everyone within a generation. USGBC has more than 15,000 members and promotes buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work. To achieve this it has developed a variety of programs and services, and works closely with key industry and research organizations and federal, state and local government agencies. The USGBC is best known for the development of the LEED rating system and only recognizes FSC certification as evidence of the sustainability of a wood product.
LEED CreditsOver the past several years, “sustainability” has become an important attribute of many new commercial and residential buildings. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™ encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building. The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), in partnership with other organizations, has developed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™. The LEED Green Building Rating will help professionals to improve the quality of buildings and their impact on the environment. ENITO Palm Wood Flooring contributes to or comply with LEED Credit.
Singapore Timber AssociationThe Singapore Timber Association (STA) was started when 2 associations (Singapore Sawmillers Association (SSA) established in 1953 and Singapore Timber Exporters' Association (STEA) established in 1956) merged in year 2001. Today, the Singapore Timber Association (STA) has a good mix of our memberships which now encompasses Singapore timber industries from timber logs, sawn timber, finished timber products like timber doors, wood flooring, panels and wood furniture, timber pallets, timber services like kiln drying, mouldings, sawmills and recycling.
eco-INSTITUT LabelInfused with only what is good for our the end-users and the environment, ENiTo is pleased to fulfil the criteria recommended by the "eco-INSTITUT-Label" Painting and Coating materials. Our coating system is free of Formaldehyde, which can be toxic, allergenic, and carcinogenic. (Formaldehyde resins are used in many flooring pre-finishes and is one of the more common indoor air pollutants).
